About ASA Volleyball

The purpose of the Anchorage Sports Association Volleyball program is to offer fun, competitive leagues and tournaments for adults in the Anchorage area at all levels playing the sport they love. 

Women's

The Womens' Divisions consist of Women's A, B & C/D Divisions:

Women's A: An appropriate level of play for players with an above average and competitive skill level who generally have college or comparable playing experience. 

Women's B: An appropriate level of play for players with average to above average and competitive skill level that have played at the high school level and/or have significant adult league playing experience. 

Women's C: An appropriate level of play for players with an average to recreational skill level and is geared more towards players with moderate playing experience.  

Women's D: An appropriate level of play for players with a recreational skill level that have limited playing experience and/or are new to the game.

The Regular Season will commence on January 8 and conclude in April or earlier for the Womens' Divisions. Teams will play a sixteen-game Regular Season with games being held on Tuesday evenings for the Women's A Division, Monday evenings for the Women's B Division, and Monday evenings for the Women's C/D Division (with two games per week). 

Men's

The Men's Division is an appropriate level of play for players of all skill levels and abilities However, previous playing experience is highly recommended as play on the court may get quite competitive.

The Regular Season will commence on January 8 and conclude in April or earlier for the Men's Division. Teams will play a sixteen-game Regular Season with games being held on Tuesday evenings (with two games per week).

Coed

The Coed Divisions consist of Coed C & D/Rec Divisions:

Coed C: An appropriate level of play for players with an above average and competitive skill level who generally have college or comparable playing experience.  

Coed D: An appropriate level of play for players with an average skill level and is geared more towards players with moderate playing experience. 

Coed Rec: An appropriate level of play for players with a recreational skill level that have limited playing experience and/or are new to the game.

The Regular Season will commence on January 8 and conclude in April or earlier for the Coed Divisions. Teams will play a sixteen-game Regular Season with games being held on Sundays and/or Wednesdays for the Coed C Division and Coed D/Rec Divisions (with two games per week).  

Reverse Coed

The Reverse Coed Divisions consist of Reverse Coed B & C Divisions:

Reverse Coed B: An appropriate level of play for players with an above average and competitive skill level who generally have college or comparable playing experience.    

Reverse Coed C: An appropriate level of play for players with an average skill level and is geared more towards players with moderate playing experience. 

The Regular Season will commence on January 8 and conclude in April or earlier for the Reverse Coed Divisions. Teams will play a sixteen-game Regular Season with games being held on Sundays for the Reverse Coed B & C Divisions (with two games per week).

 

All ASA Volleyball leagues and tournaments are sanctioned by USA Volleyball. All players must be current members of USAV in order to participate.
