As an Association, we've had our fair share of change over the last few years. One of those changes was the website upgrade that was implemented in early 2016. While the website served our basic needs, it lacked many elements that we felt were vital to running a successful sports league program, especially for adults who are busy and constantly on the go.

As program directors, we were forced to piecemeal together various applications (Weebly, Dropbox, Excel, to name a few) to give you the information you needed and to run things smoothly in the office. Some of those applications worked better than others. Over the last year, we've been figuring out what we liked and didn't like about everything we were using, and we knew we needed a permanent solution for the Association if we were going to provide a positive experience for our team managers and players.

Enter SportsEngine, a web-based sports league platform specifically designed to run sports organizations. Some of the more prominent upgrades include improved registration and payment flow, team pages with rosters and schedules, and even an application for your mobile device that easily displays your teams' schedules (plus ping notifications when something changes or a game is rained out!).

We are excited to bring this platform to all our members so we can continue to serve you better and make playing at Anchorage Sports an enjoyable experience. We are in the process of transferring over to the new site, and when we fully do, our web address will remain the same easy-to-remember anchoragesports.com.
